The current Prime Minister of Israel is Benjamin Netanyahu. He is head of Israel's Parliamentary Democracy , or head of government. Benjamin Netanyahu, and any current Prime Minister, is also the organizer of coalition. On the next rung of the ladder comes the President. He doesnt have much power and only comes in handy for the ceremony announcing the Prime Minister. The President is also head of state. Next comes the Knesset. The Knesset is the parliament of Israel, so they are also th legislative branch. The Knesset actually holds the most power. Last, but not least, are the Israeli citizens. Anyone over the age of 18 may vote. Israel also has a mixed market economy.

Ali Khamenei, the current Supreme Leader of Iran holds all the power. Mostly. He has the final say, he is the ayatollah (recognized religous authority), and he is the head of state, but the President almost tops him. The President is the chief executive, head of government, and is devoted to Islam teachings. The only downfalls are 2 terms of 4 years each, he must be approved by a council, and the Supreme Leader may remove him from power at any time. Rough.
Next comes the Assembly of Experts. They choose the Supreme Leader, supervise the Supreme Leader, and may take away the supreme Leader's power. The Assembly of Experts is elected by citizens over the age of 15. These citizens can also vote for the President. Both men and women may serve in the Parliament. The Parliament is the legislative branch and members are voted for by the citizens.
Iran has a command economy meaning the government controls the economy, not the people.
